YESTERDAY’S PARLIAMENT.
[by telegraph.] "Wellington, August 14. The House reassembled at 2 p.m when the Speaker read a message from the Governor, stating that it was inconvenient for him to attend and givo his reasons for calling Government together, but that he would do so on Tuesday. Major Atkinson moved an adjournment till Tuesday at 2 p.m. which was carried, and the House rose at 2.15 p.m. In the Legislative Council, the Hon. R. Oliver presented a message from the Governor to. the same effect as that read in the House of Representatives, and the Conncil adjourned.
