FISHING SEASON
PROSPECTS FOR GOOD SPORT Excellent fishing is predicted by most anglers in the forthcoming season, which Will open shortly. Lakes and rivers are well stocked, and conditions for breeding have favourable. In the Auckland Acclimatisation district, which includes the Cambridge area, the sason will open on next Wesdnesday (October 1). The Rotorua and Taupo. districts will have their openings on' November 1.- ' Mr W„ R. Edwards advises in this issue that fishing .licenses for all three districts* are obtainable from him.
