Visit of Rotary International President

' Not since 1932 has-a Presidents of the Rotary. International Movement visited the 'Antipodes; but his elevation to the. highesyfiffice in this World Movement some months ago, President S. Kendriclc Guernsey, of Jacksonville, Florida, is now in the course of a tour of Australia and New Zealand. Accompanied' by his wife, actually he will' be m Cambridge for a short stay on Suflday morning and he and Mrs Gpeysey will be the guests of tog/ Cambridge Rotary Club; to morning tea at the residence of the local President, Mr Frank T. Ray. • These noted visitors will be on their way back from Rotorua and are expected in Cambridge at approximately 11.45. They are to be the guests of the Hamilton Rotary Club at luncheon at 1.30.

President S. Kendrick Guernsey has had a metoric elevation in Rotary. In 1920 he was elected secretary of the newly-formed Orlando Club in Florida. He was soon made president and in two years was apDointed District Governor. In 1925 he became Chairman of Rotary International (Boys’ Work Committee) and in 1926 was second vice-president of this great International Movement. He has served on countless committees and this year his tireless energy for the Movement resulted in his. election to the highest honour.
