Qualifying Rounds For Championships

CAMBRIDGE GOLF CLUB MANY EXCELLENT SCORES The Cambridge Golf Club's course was in 'excellent order on Saturday when the two qualifying rounds for the championship were played. There were many good scores, particularly among the juniors, and several handicap reductions resulted. A localised rain storm in the afternoon which inundated several of the greens affected some of the late players, and caused a delay in the completion of the rounds. Fifteen players handed in cards among the seniors, 14 in the intermediate section and 25 in the junior grade. Those who qualiified for match play were: Seniors W. J. Ryan 74,76-150; D.
