TO THE R.S.A. ADMINISTRATION OF FLATS If the subscribers of the funds which built the “Kiwi” Flats make a favourable decision on Monday evening next when a public meeting will be held in the R.S.A. club-rooms, then the future administration and control of the flats will pass over from -?he Rehabilitation Auxiliary to the Returned Services Association.

The public meeting called for Monday night is advertised in this issue. At the meeting of the Auxiliary last Monday night the Borough Council offered its consent to the transfer of the administration to the R.S.A., subject to the proviso being honoured that the buildings in Bryce Street will be demolished when the purpose for which they exist is no longer necessary.

The agreement between the Council and the R.S.A. was approved by the Auxiliary. It was agreed that any balance of funds- in the Auxiliary’s account, when it is closed, be paid towards liquidating the Red 'Cross loan.

It was agreed by the Council that the property in Bryce Street be vest'ed in tfye R.S.A. after payment has been made to the Council for the land and drainage costs. The aforementioned resolutions and matters will be placed before the public meeting on Monday for approval. At last Monday’s meeting there were present Messrs F. H. Anderson (chairman), A. J. S. Richardson, J. Blackman, J. Jeans, W. Maginness, C. G. Wallace, H. A. Watkins, A. P. Baker, W. R. Garrard, Mrs R. Ross and the secretary, Mr C. V. Duignan.
