RUGBY COMPETITION
R. J. HULSE WINS AGAIN The Waikato Independent's final Rugby competition has been won by R. J. Hulse, of Whitehall, who shared first place in the previous competition. No correct solution was received, but Mr Hulse was the nearest with Leamington 15, Hautapu 11, United 9, Matangi 1. The actual result was Leamington 14, Hautapu 12, United 9, Matangi 1. Mr Hulse will receive £2 and the St. John Ambulance Association 14s.
