CAMBRIDGE TOURNAMENT MANY TEAMS COMPETE From every angle the Cambridge Basketball Association's second annual tournament on Saturday . was very successful. There v/ere teams present from Matamata, /Te Aroha, Cambridge, Hamilton, Plutaruru, Te Awamutu, Huntly and T* Kuiti and a large gallery of ■ spectators enjoyed many high-class ifiatchrfs. Efficient organisation added to the success of the fixtuuref and the Cambridge officials received many congratulations. The visiting teams were welcomed in the morning by Mr A. C. Wallis, who afterwards presented the cups to the winners.
In the "A" grade, the Haworth Cup was won by Mataniata, who defeated Huntly A. in the final. The "B" grade was keenly contested, Hamilton 'B. defeating Te Kuiti B. by one point in the final for the Lang Cup.
