N.Z. League Team. Mr L. Pye, of Auckland, who has been selected to tour England and France with the New Zealand League team, is a brother of Mr W. Pye, of Cambridge. Early Rate Payment. * When the rates were being confirmed at Wednesday night’s meeting of the Leamington Town Board, the clerk, Mr R. S. Entwistle stated that although the demands had not yet been printed, the rates on one property amounting to £lB had already been received. This had been due to the property recently changing hands. Instructional Films. Messrs Wilkinson and Co., Ltd., have received from the New Zealand Retail Motor Trade (Inc.) a film enabling them to instruct- their mechanics in the latest regulations'and routine for the inspection of motor vehicles for warrants of fitness. The film deals with vehicles for daylight use, tractors, etc.; while inspection covers brakes, steering, headlights, etc.
