VICE-REGAL VISIT

HAMILTON ITINERARY PLANNED

The itinerary for the GovernorGeneral, Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C., and Lady Freyberg, on their visit to Hamilton at the end of this month has been finalised. They will arrive at Frankton at 4.20 a.m. on Thursday, October 31.

At 11 a.m. that day Their Excellencies will attend a combined gathering of school children at the High School grounds, and if the weather is unfavourable, in the Bledisloe Hall. At 2.30 a visit will be paid to the Waikato Hospital. Returned Servicemen will be met at the Services’ Club in Garden Place at 5 p.m. There will be a civic reception at the Theatre Royal at 8 p.m. Next day Their Excellencies wjll attend the Metropolitan Show at Claudelands and officially open it at 2 p.m.
