TENNIS
ST. ANDREW’S CLUB OPENED LAST SATURDAY The 1945-4 G tennis season was started on Saturday last when St. Andrew’s Tennis Club opened their courts. Although the weather was rather boisterous, a large and enthusiastic gathering was present. The Rev. Canon C. W. Chandler wished the club a happy and successful year now the boys were returning home, and a special welcome was accorded Jack Drew. Mrs Chandler then served the. first ball over the net. A Yankee tournament was placed the winners being Mrs R. Calvert and J. Lynds.
