CROIX DE GUERRE
AWARDED TO CAMBRIDGE FLIER Advice has been recently received that Squadron-Leader Victor Hall, of Cambridge, has been awarded the Croix De Guerre, Urn highest honour bestowed by France for outstanding work done during the Dieppe raids. Squadron-Loader Hall is recognised as one of New Zealand’s leading signal officers attached to the R.A.F. The news has special interest for Cambridge as the Squadron-Leader was educated here, and both he and Wing-Commander E. P. Wells, are inseparabc friends.
