THE CAMBRIDGE RAILWAY VALUABLE GOODS TRAFFIC Three abnormal factors—the restrictions in the use of petrol, the increased output of primary industries and the transport of troopshave combined in causing greater use. than ever before of New Zealand Railways.

The increase has been revealed in the Railways Statement which has just been released by the Minister, the Hon. R. Semplc, and it is shown that there has been much increased activity on the Cambridge line.

Due to restrictions on road transport, the number of sheep sent from Cambridge last season was a record.
