THE CAMBRIDGE CLUB QUALIFYING ROUNDS COMPLETED The second and final qualifying round for the Cambridge Golf Club championships was completed on Saturday, and next week, match play will be commenced. Scores were steadily good, but few players were below their handicaps. An outstanding feature was the new amateur course record established by K. C. Ward, of 69 gross. He played a consistent..round but failed to qualify top as 7 a r result of his 79 the previous week. The senior field is headed by L. R. Haworth who is now at the top of his form. His round of 73 on Saturday was assisted by an eagle three at the eighteenth. Haworth and Ward earned byes in the first round of match play. W. J. Ward played two consistent rounds to head the intermediates, being one stroke better than C. H. White. In the juniors, W. H. Woolley gained a four stroke lead as a qualifier, from J. H. Brock.
