TO TROOPS OVERSEAS The Postmaster, Mr C. B. McNatty, advises that a cheap rate telegram service has been made - available to members of IHis Majesty’s Army and Air Force abroad, except for the present those serving in Canada and Egypt. The rate is 5d per word' for the text and signature, with a minimum charge of 2/6, Urgent private matters only are allowed.. The text is to be in plain language and must contain a surname as signature. Messages are subject to Censorship. The address, which is not .charged for, must include indicator, “E.F.M.,” regimental number, rank and the words “British Expeditionary Force, London,” or, if addressee is not with the British Expeditionary Force, the name of the place and the country of destination. Special classes of telegrams and accessary services are not permitted. The concessions commenced on Saturday.
