FEARS FOR SAFETY

CAMBRIDGE WOMAN MISSING A SHORT NOTE LEFT A well-known resident of Cambridge, Mrs M. Muller, has been missing from her place of residence since early Saturday morning, and fears are being felt for her safety. Mrs Muller is the wife of the late Mr William Muller, and until recently lived at the residence attached to the bakery. When changes were made in the management of the bakery, Mrs Muller went to reside in Duke Street. She was missed from her room early on Saturday morning, and is thought to be wearing only an overcoat over her night attire. A short note was left which gives cause for the fears for her safety. At the time of her disappearance she had no money, and was not wearing a hat. The disappearance of Mrs Muller was reported to the police, who made enquiries and carried out a search of the river without success. Mr E. Muller, a son of Mrs Muller, who has been living at the bakery with his wife, is at present in the Waikato Hospital.
