THE ROTORUA MEETING PROSPECTS FOR SATURDAY Excellent fields are carded for the first day of the Rotorua Racing Club’s meeting on Saturday. The club’s new track will be in use for the first time and with improved appointments a fine day’s sport should be provided. The Cambridge district will be represented by Midland, British Isles, Valrua, Fabian, Farland and Noitaro. Prospects are: Pohutu High-weight Handicap, 1 mile and 160 yards: Starbright, Erination, Haile Boy. Waimangu Stakes, 6 furlongs: Merry Vaals, Herbage, Pleuron. Mokoia Hack Handicap, C furlongs: Sir Robin, Pasture, Trig Station. Rotorua Cup, H miles and 180 yards: Cornish, Greek Queen, Jack Tar. Hot Springs Handicap, 6 furlongs: Estro, Fairfield, Ngawiri. . Geyser Hack Handicap, 1 mile and 160 yards: Kaspian, First Gold Money, Starbright. Arawa Park Stakes Handicap, 5* furlongs: Gold Money Song, Silveyor, Lady Bloater. Tourist Handicap, 6 furlongs: Sunola, Penzance, Gamos.
