TENNIS CHAMPIONS

LEADING AUSTRALIAN PLAYER VISIT TO HAMILTON J. F. Bromwich and J. H. Crawford, Australia's leading tennis players, will stage exhibition matches in. the Bledisloe Hall, Hamilton, on Monday, in aid of the patriotic committee's funds. Other leading Australian and New Zealand players will also compete. A bright programme has been drawn up by the committee,' although it is subject to the confirmation of the visitors. Waikato's leading players, Miss Margaret Beverleyj J. Roach and D. Livingstone, will have the opportunity of playing against the Australian champions. More than 1000 booked seats are available and there has been a very strong inquiry for seats up to the present. The programme is as follows: 1.30 p.m.: Miss M. Hardcastle (Australia) v. Miss M. Beverley (New Zealand). 2.30 p.m.: J. H. Crawford (Australia) v. J. E. Bromwich (Australia). 3.30 p.m.: Miss N. Wynne (Australia) v. Miss T. Coyne (Australia). 4.30 p.m.: J. Crawford and J. : Bromwich (Australia) v. J. Roach and D. Livingstone (New Zealand). 5.30 p.m.: J. Crawford and Miss N. Wynne (Australia) v. J. Bromwich and Miss Coyne (Australia).
