GIRL GUIDES

FAREWELL PARTY Las I Thursday the Robinhood Rangers and Hamutana Rovers were vited by Mrs E. I. Dallinger to a party in her home at Maungatautari. Mrs Dallinger has been "mothering" the Rangers since Miss Levesque went to Auckland in the autumn. She has found that it will no longer be possible for her to attend the Ranger meetings and the party was in the nature of a farewell. Miss Pat Levesque, formerly Captain of the Robinhoods, was also present. Her family have moved away, and so the Rangers will be deprived of her advice and help in future. Many delightful games were played during the evening. Mrs Dallinger provided a delightful supper. It was with regret that the Rangers learnt that Mrs Dallinger would no longer be able to "mother" them, and also that Miss Levesque's parents were moving out of the district, with the result that when she is able to leave Auckland on holiday she will not be in the district. They will, however, give their full support and loyalty to Lenore Finlay, who is taking on the duties of Captain.. SCRIBE 11. Relieve Bronchial Coughs and Cckls With Woods' Great Peppermint Cure.
