EXCELLENT ENTRIES

VALUABLE PRIZES OFFERING

Attracted by the valuable prizes offered, excellent entries have been received for the Waikato Central Agricultural Association’s Show, to be held at Cambridge on Friday and Saturday of next week. Actual figures will not be available for publication until next issue, but the entries comprise much of the best stock in the Auckland Province. With the show dates altered to Friday and Saturday this year, much larger attendances than usual are anticipated, particularly on the second -day. The association is fortunate in the number of valuable donations received every year. These assist in the provision of good prize-money which maintains an exhibition of high standard. Donations received this year are as follows:

Ltd., donate three tons of superphosphate; Arthur Yates and Co. Ltd., seed valued 20/-; O’Leary Bros, and Downs, seeds valued 10/-; N.Z. Newspapers Ltd., 12 months subscription to “N.Z. Farmer”; Wilson and Horton, 6 months subscription to “Auckland Weekly News,” valued £1; Frank M. Winstone Ltd., l/501b Calf Meal Mr E. G.
