SUB-ASSOCIATION MATCH TRINITY BEAT ST. ANDREW’S Only one match was played in the Cambridge Tennis Sub-Association’s competition on Saturday, when Trinity defeated St. Andrew’s in the B-grade by 12 sets (116 games) to 4 sets (87 games). Trinity ‘ proved ; the generally stronger team most of the wins being gained with a comfortable margin. The match was played on the St. Andrew's courts. Results are as follows, Trinity players mentioned first: Men’s Singles: I. Bryce beat B. Cubis, 9—4; R. Burton lost to J. Drew, 4—9; D. Montgomerie beat N. Dix, 9—4; A. McKenzie lost to M. Weathered, 4—9. Ladies’ Singles: Miss E. Clothier beat Miss V. Litchwark, 7—5; Miss I. Slater beat Miss J. Wild, 9—4; Miss M. Sutcliffe beat Miss M. Henson, 7—o; Miss MTBurns beat Miss R. Henson, 7—4. Men’s Doubles: Bryce and Burton beat Cubis and Drew, 9 —6; Montgomerie and McKenzie beat Dix ana Weathered, 9—7. Ladies’ Doubles: Misses E. Clothier and I. Slater lost to Misses V. Litchwark and J. Wild, 2—7; Misses M.
