TOURNAMENT RULES

CAMBRIDGE CRITICISED Criticism of one of the rules of the Cambridge Bowling Club's annual Easter tournament is made by “Trundler” in the Auckland Star, and- if would probably be as well for the executive to be guided by his remarks. ‘‘Reference has been made to the Rbtotaa committee being several years behind in one of the only two laws of the game quoted in the programme, but at Cambridge they are worse, for they give a rule which is. directly contrary to the laws,” ne w'rites. “After stating in last year’s programme that the rules governing the competition shall be those of the Dominion of New Zealand Bowling Association, although that has not been the correct name of the association since 1931, and although no club and no centre is permitted
