CONFIRMATION SERVICE
ST. PETER'S SCHOOL CANDIDATES BISHOP BENNETT OFFICIATES The Sacrament of ConJirmation was administered in the chapel ol* St. Peter's School by the Bt. Rev. Bishop Bennett, of Aotea-roa, on Wednesday evening last, when the Rev. J. M. Beaufort presented seven hoys as candidates for confirmation. In two addresses to the candidates the Bishop very feelingly appealed to them to dedicate their lives to God's service, and he spoke of the wonderful opportunities which were theirs while living in the helpful atmosphere of St. Peter's School. The Bishop's second address was based upon Josuah's appeal: ''Choose ye this day whom you will serve." Illustrating his talk with a number of Maori myths and legends, the. Bishop could not have failed to make > very deep impression upon the candidates, and the large congregation which almost filled the chapel, "he Bishop delivered his final blessing in the Maori tongue. The Rev. C. W. Chandler officiated as the Bishop's chaplain, and Mr H. C. Luscombe presided at the organ.
