SUCCESSFUL MANAGER
MR J. B. DEMPSTER’S APPOINTMENT
POSITION AT TANEATUA Out of 70 applicants, Mr J. B. Dempster, of Cambridge, has been appointed manager of the Opourio Dairy Company’s factory at Ruatoki, Taneatua. He will take up the position at the beginning of next month. Mr Dempster has been in Cambridge for 18 years and commenced work with the Cambridge Dairy Company at the Pukeroro factory. Since then he has been employed at most of the company’s branches and was manager of the Leamington factory for the past eight years. For brief intervals he has also worked at the Thames Valley Company’s Waitoa factory and the New Zealand Dairy Company’s Frankton factory. At present Mr Dempster is secretary of the Auckland branch of the New Zealand Factory Managers’ Association.
Mr Dempster has been a popular member of the community and a member of the Leamington Bowling Club.
