THE CAMBRIDGE SALE KEEN COMPETITION RULES ' Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held their usual triweekly stock sale at Cambridge yesterday, when a good entry of all classes of stock came forward, the whole yarding changing hands under, keen com* petition. Sheep: The advertised ex-Coast ewe* came forward in good condition, bufcwere not keenly sought after. Prices' were as follows: 192 s.m. ewes £t 2/-: .100 s.m. ewes £1 1/-; poorer conditioned owes. 9/- to 9/9; S.D. rams 2-lgns; .Ij.L. rants 2ghs to 3gns; best store lambs 13/4 to 15/9: smaller sorts S/S to 13/4. Cattle: Medium, fat cows £2 4/- to £3 7/0; lighter sorts £2 1/- to £2 11/-; kiliable cows £1 5/- to £2; boner .cows': 12/- to £1; potter bulls 15/- to £1 2/-. Pigs: A good yarding came forward comprising mostly small sorts. A total clearance was effected at prices in advance of local rates. (Medium bacouers £3' 1/- to £3 7/-; heavy porkers £2 7/to £2 10/-: medium porkers £1 10/- to £2 5/-; light porkers £1 4/- to £1 12/-: stores 19/- to 24/-; slips 11/0 to 10/0; best weaners 10/-: others 4/- to S/0.
