THE CAMBRIDGE SALE SPECIAL SHEEP ENTRY The Neftv Zealand. Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., report on their annual sheep fair and regular stock sale held yesterday. The entry of sheep was even in excess of the advertised number, there being approximately 7500 yarded, this number comprising luOOlambs of which 400 were fat. 2200 ewes ex-Gishorrie, 400 wethers ex-Gisborno as well as 3000 local ewes. Fat lamb prices, were firm, while there wast barely* sufficient store lambs to satisfy the demand, these all making good values. While there was a buoyant tone in tlie "ewe market, and a complete clearance was effected at very satisfactory prices throughout, the wethers did not reach vendors' reserves.
