Mr lan Watts, of Wellington, i» staying with M.rs P. W. Suckling, at Pukekura. Mr I. Kingdon has been appointed surfaceman to the Leamington Town Board. Miss Tosti Banks, Piarorc, and Miss Mary Ferguson, of Hamilton Road, are assisting Miss Brann in her kindergarten work, which commences to-day. Mr L. Edwards, of Rhyl, Wales, who has been visiting his brother, Mr W. R. Edwards, of Cambridge, sailed by the Aorangi to-day for England, via Vancouver. Mr Edwards considers New Zealand a wonderful country and thoroughly enjoyed his stay. He hopes to make another visit within the next two years and bring with him a party to enjoy the wonderful deep-sea and trout fishing that New Zealand waters offer.
