With rainfall on the first five days of this week, followed by warm sunshine, the crops and pastures in the district are growing rapidly. Several farmers report that they have more feed than is required, and the recent drop in production should be increased this month. The total rainfall for this week-was 2.5 S inches.
Ensilage making is fairly general in the district and many stacks have been completed. 'Farmers will now be concentrating on hay-making and have a busy time ahead of them.
