Demand for Farm Lands.— A good inquiry exists for farming properties in Hawke’s Bay at present. One leading land agent informed a press representdtiVe that he had seven clients all wanting farms and that he had nothing to offer them. Land values were the main hurdle, he • said, as many farmers to-day did not know what their land-was worth; “Then of cputSp,” he remarked, “there are a number of farmers -who would rather have their farms 1 than have capital to invest.”
