Dr and Mrs N. Waddle left bv the Limited last evening for a short visit south.
Mr Fred Lye, M.P., left Cambridge yesterday on a business trip to Taranaki and Wellington.
Mr R. S. Entwisle has been appointed secretary of the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce to fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of Mr W. H. Woolley.
At the monthly meeting of the Cambridge Borough Council last evening a vote of sympathy was carried with the relatives of the late Mr Robert Swayne.
