Rationed Teachers.— The Department of Education has informed the Auckland Education Board that lodging allowance will bo paid to every rationed teacher who has neither father nor mother living, provided he had not previously been in permanent employment. Payment will be retrospective to February 1 last, and will be nayable irrespective of the locality in which the teacher is employed.
