It was agreed that a sub-committee comprising Messrs Moore, Wilkinson, Glenny and the secretary examine the rules of the Centre and bring them up-to-date. The banking account is to be transferred to the Bank of New Zealand, Cambridge. Incorrect Times. Following a discussion on swimmers sending in incorrect times for handicap events, it was decided that in future all entry forms shall be verified and signed by the handicappers of the respective clubs, in addition to the secretaries. The meeting agreed that the Cambridge, Old Boys and Girls, Morrinsville and Thames Clubs’ applications to appoint their own club judges for the championship events be granted. Payment of Affiliation Fees. After some considerable discussion the following resolution was earned as a remit to the Dominion Association: “That the South Auckland Centre is of the opinion that the affiliation fees payable by clubs should be on a sliding scale, according to the membership of clubs. The Centre considers it unfair to charge small country clubs a similar ten to that charged to the larger city clubs. ’ ’ It was pointed out that most country clubs have a very small membership, and onlv charge nominal foes to thenmembers. It was decided to defer until next executive meeting the question of applying for the next N.Z. Championships to be held in Hamilton.
