GOOD RAINFALL
BENEFIT TO FARMERS GOOD SOAKING THIS WEEK Although dry, the weather was very changeable last week, low temperatures being the order at nights. There was a change in the condutions on Tuesday, and on Wednesday rain threatened in the morning. Following showers a steady downpour took place in the afternoon, continuing well into the evening. The fall for the 24 hours to 9 a.m. on Thursday was .63in. This week’s rain fall will be most beneficial to pastures and crops.
