An event much looked forward to by the children of the district took place at the Goodwood School at the end of the school term when a fancy dress [dance was held. The large class-room had been attractively decorated, which lent a scene of gaiety to the occasion. A dainty supper provided by the parents and ladies of the district was done full justice to, after which the adults took the floor and dancing was continued till the small hours.
