SOCIAL AND PERSONAL
Miss Ellen Parker, of Auckland, and formerly of the Cambridge High School Commercial staff, is making a short visit to the district. Mr W. Stuart, Jnr., entered the Waikato Hospital yesterday to undergo an operation, and friends of the family will wish him a speedy recovery. Mr J. C. Allan, the Cambridge postmaster, is at present convalescing at Tauranga, following his serious illness. It may bo some time yet before Mr Allan can resume duty and during his absence Mr H. Skellern is acting-post-master.
