FARMERS’ UNION
THE CAMBRIDGE BRANCH. MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Farmers’ Union was held yesterday, Mr M. E. Marplcs presiding over a small attendance. The Workers’ Educational Association wrote asking if the branch would endeavour to form a local study group. • It was reported that a series of lectures had been received and it was decided that they be passed around among the members. , The chairman read a copy of a letter sent to Mr Clinkard regarding his attitude on derating. Members approved of the letter, stating it was very much to the point. Several matters of an internal nature were dealt with.
