A start has been made with the work of blasting out a 20ft road around the first of the heavy bluffs between To Toko and Waiohau Flats, on the To Teko-Waiohau-Galatea Road. The completion of this road and the WaiotapuMurupara Road will give access to Galatea from the Bay of Plenty and Rotorua.
