BAN ON EMIGRANTS.
MEASURE IN AMERICA. Australian and N.Z. Press Association WASHINGTON, Dec. 3. The chairman of the Immigration Committee of the House of Eeproseuta fives, Mr Johnson, to-day introduce legislation to suspend all immigratioi for five years. The measure is identical with the re solution moved by Mr D. A. Reed, Re publican member for Pennsylvania, ex cept that the suspension period is in creased from two to five years.
