DAIBY COWS AVEBAGE £2O. ; GOOD TEODUCERS. A paddock sale reported by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., proves that dairy farmers recognise the value of herds which attain a high average production of butterfat. They advise having just disposed of Mr J. Eyan's choice herd of 28 Jersey cows, which averaged 4281bs fat for the 1928-1929 season, on one of his farms near Te Awamutu, afK £2O per head, to a Matamata buyer.' ;
