SCHOOL SWIMMING BATHtt
FORMAL OPENING ON SATURDAY
The swimming), bath at the Leamington school, recently opened for use by the children, is much appreciated, and is serving a most useful purpose. The formal opening of the bath, postponed to enable the Hon. Minister for Education to be present, has been* definitely fixed for Saturday ncxtj at" 2. p.m. The Hon. Harry Atmore will be present to perform the ceremony, to which the public are cordially invited to attend. . The Minister's Visit. The member for the district, Mr F. Lye, has received telegraphic advice from the Minister that he will leave Wellington on Friday by the Limited for the purpose of opening the Leamington school bath at 2 p.m. on Saturday. ,
After the Leamington function the Minister intends to leave for Te Kuiti, and on Sunday, in company with Hon. Sir Apirana Ngata, Messrs Broadfoot and Lee Martin, M's.P., and Mr-Bigg, A- _ l —„... soil analyst of the Cawthron InstitirtfF will visit the Mairoa and Kopaki districts in the King Country to inspect certain areas of land. The Minister proposes to return to Hamilton, on Monday morning, and in the will open the • additions to the Hamilton Technical School. On Tuesday and Wednesday Mr Atmore will visit parts of the Raglan electorate.
