SUDDEN DEATH.
HAMILTON WOMAN COLLAPSES. DEATH ON VISIT TO FRIEND. HAMILTON, MaTch 25. When visiting the home of a friend last evening Mrs Elva Hogan, aged 24 years, of Massey Street, Frankton, collapsed and died almost immediately. Mrs Hogan Avas in a room when a curtain became ignited by contact with a lighted candle. An alarm was given and it was subsequently found that Mrs Hogan had expired. At an inquest opened before the coroner, Mr S. L. Paterson, S.M., to-day William John Hogan, husband of deceased, sand his wife was of a nervous disposition. They had been married three years and there were two children. The inquest was adjourned.
