HAMILTON SHOW

A LOSS OF £252. RESULT OF BAD WEATHER. The inclement weather at the last summer show conducted by the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association was stated to be responsible for a decrease of 50 per cent in the normal gate takings, and although the entries were equal to the average, the receipts on the two days showed a decline. In giving these facts in the annual repoit. the committee stated that it had been found necessary to reduce the prizemoney by 10 per cent. The committee expressed gratitude to the exhibitors who, without exception, had accepted the reduction with out demur. A loss of £252 on the year's working was disclosed in the balance sheet.
