AMONG THE BIG FISH.
MAYOR ISLAND GROUNDS. TAURANGA PARTY’S SUCCESS. TAURANGA, March 19. A party comprising Messrs McKelvie, Brice, Gibbs and Moore has returned from the Mayor Island fishing grounds after a successful trip in the launch Virginia. They captured five swordfish weighing 3901 b, 3021 b, 3151 b, 4121 b, and 3741 b respectively. The party reports having seen a large number of swordfish.
