MOTOR ACCIDENT

CAR CAPSIZES. "SUNNY SIDE UP." A motor accident occurred yesterday on the main road between Tirau and Putaruru. Messrs L. "Sinclair .and Allan Carroll, of the Amalgamated Theatres, Ltd.'s, Cambridge staff, were travelling along, and when negotiating one of the many fairly sharp corners, the ear skidded in a thick patch of sand and turned "Sunny Side Up." The vehicle went over heavily, both mudguards being flattened, and the topgear being badly smashed. Altogether the damage to the car was fairly extensive. Fortunately, however, both occupants escaped unhurt. After temporary repairs had been cffectedj the motorists wore enabled to "limp" home. Messrs Sinclair and Carroll were engaged in advertising "Sunny Side. Up" at the time of the accident, and the humour of the situation immediately dawned on Mr Sinclair when he picked himself up from the hard road and saw the position of his car.
