NGARUAWAHIA REGATTA
ON SATURDAY NEXT. > s^SPECTACULAR AND POPULAR. For years past the .annual regatta at Ngaruawahia has been an exceedingly popular function, and during the past year or two has drawn enormous crowds from all parts of the Island. This year's regatta w r ill be held on » Saturday next, 15th inst., when the programme to be proscnted promises to be an exceptionally interesting one, including some of the most spectacular Maori events that are to be seen in tho Dominion. This event has now come to be looked upon as a picnic by a great many pcopie, and it is an ideal spot for such an outing. Hot water is provided free for visitors, and there is no end of fun and amusement for all. Lovers of Maori hakas, poi dances, canoe races, .and rowing events will find much to interest them, and we can confidently recommend the outing to all. Doubtless a great many Cambridge residents will motor to Ngaruawahia on Saturday.
