LIVE STOCK MARKET. HAMILTON SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Ltd., Hamilton, report on their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards OttTuesday, 11th March, as under:— There was a small yarding of fat bullocks which met with a ready *ale at late rates. Fat cows and heifers were penned in average numbers, and prices were on a par with late rates. Inferior quality and boner cows were dower. Best fat young cows and heifers sold at up to £lO 12/6; ordinaryprime cows £8 to £9 10/-; inferior eows £5 5/- to £6 5/-; inferior runners 30/to 39/-. There was a very large yarding of sheep. Fat sheep sold at full late rates, and young breeding ewe* were in good demand, whilst aged ewes were 2/- to 3/- per head lower. J3torc lambs were in good demand and all - sold at full late rates. Our principal sales were as follows:—On account of Eanui Estate, 153 shorn wether lambs 12/-: also 153 shorn ewe lambs at 15/6; account client, 74 shorn wether lambs at 15/3 to 14/6; account client, 43 shorn ,ewe lambs 17/4; also 84 shorn wether "lambs at 15/4 to 16/-; 70 . m.s. shorn lambs 13/6; 62 blackface lambs 10/6; 40 wethordambs 14/-; 72 shorn wether lambs 12/3; 50 do. 12/11.30 do. 11/3; 240 shorn lambs 10/9 to 11/6; 112 Cull lambs 7/-; 210 s.m. ewes 21/-; 290 f.m, ewes 12/6; 165 f.m. ewes 16/8; 132 m.a. ewes 22/6; 154 extra choice 2-tfe ewes 26/9; 227 f.m. ewes 10/9 to 12/S; rams at late rates. There was a largo yarding of fat pigs. Large baconer* sold at late rates. Light baconcrs and heavy porkers were a shade lower. All store pigs were lower. One exceptional line of 90 heavy baconcrs were sold at£4 12/8.
