PEOPLE’S DAY BIG ATTENDANCE ASSURED. Topical autumn weather prevails today (People’s Day), and the success of the show r is assured. As we go to press the attendance is rapidly swelling, and there is every promise that it will be the best for several years. POINTS’ PRIZES. Jerseys. The winner in this section is Messrs A. Moreland and Sons (To Rapa) with 28 points, made up of a champion and tw r o reserve champion awards, four firsts, four seconds and two thirds. The runner-up was Mr V. McD. HitchingS (Otorohanga), with 10-J points and Mr W. H. Micrs (Rototuna) was next with ' 10 points. Messrs Moreland and Sons hold the silver cup presented by Mr W. J. Chynoweth. Ayrshires. Mr W. C. Wallace (Cambridge) was easily the winner for the year of the Ayrshire Cattle Breeders’ Associay tion’s handsome shield with 31 pointet, - made up of a champion award, five firsts, five seconds and three thirds. The runnerlup was Mr J. A. Watt (Cambridge), with 20 points, comprising a champion and reserve championawards, two firsts, one second, seven thirds and a highly commended exhibit. Mf C. Watt, also of Cambridge, had 39J points, comprising a reserve champion award, three firsts, four seconds and a third. .... Milking Shorthorns. The points prize presented by Messrs Fisher Bros, is to be held this year by Mr G. D. Hall (Pio Pio), with 21 points • made up of a champion awards, three firsts, four seconds and one third. Mr John McGowan (Waiuku) is runnerup with 18 points, comprising a champion,, four firstsy a second and a third. The next in points was Ranstead Bros. (Matangi) with 16 points, two reserve . champions, two firsts, three seconds and one third. .v Friesians. .

Mr W. S. McEwen (Cambridge) wins the association’s gold medal and holds the cup presented by Messrs Whewell Bros., he having points, comprising one champion, fivd firsts,'one second, and three thirds. The runner-up is Mr W. H. Reeves (W & ihou), with 19J points, made up of two reserve chany piop '.awards, one first, six seconds, one sliird and one commended.
