LAWN TENNIS
THE SECONDARY SCHOOLS. CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNEY. It is encouraging to sec that quite a number of the pupils of the local secondary school have entered for the annual tennis championship for pupils of secondary- schools in the 'Waikato, which began at Hamilton this morning at 9.30 on the Hamilton courts.
Among the local entrants are: D. Haworth, girls' singles; D. Haworth and B. Martyn, M. Hicks and N. Griffiths, doubles. The boys are: E. Easter and H. Wallis in singles and doubles.
