Bound, up as it is in matters dairying the commercial affairs of the Cambridge district will bo subject to increased activity this week by the distribution of the large sum of £30,182. This sum comprises the total pay-outs of the Cambridge and Brantwood Cooperative Dairy Companies. The Cambridge Company. On' Thursday the Cambridge, Dairy Company will pay out cheques totalling £26,600, this sum being made up, by advance payment on September to the amount of £21,400, and additional bonus payment of £5200, bringing bonuses to 2d per lb butterfat for the period of six months ending April 30. The ordinary advance payment is on the butterfat basis of l/5£ for butter and 1/6:} for cheese as against 1/1J and l/2£ respectively for the corresponding period of the previous season (during the operation of control). It is most satisfactory to note that despite the dryer weather conditions the company's supply showed an increase of 12 per cent over the previous season's period. The Bruntwood Company. On the 20th inst. the Bruntwood Coop. Dairy Co. will pay out the sum of £3562 on the basis of 1/6 lb butterfat for cheese-making. During the month of September the company received milk supply amounting to 1,234,1891b5, which produced 47,4991bs fat. N.Z. CO-OP. DAIRY CO. DISTRIBUTION OF £418,000. : . On Thursday the-N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Qo. will distribute, for September supply, the huge sum of £418,000, which represents an increased payment over the corresponding period of the previous season of 21 per cent, last year's pay-out being in the vicinity of £350,000. In consonance with the all-round increase of supply in this district during the present season, the company's butter output for June to September period totals 4803 tons, compared with 3815 for the corresponding period of 1926, *an advance of 26 per cent. Other Companies. The Norfolk, Te Awamutu, Kakepuku companies have.fixed their-pay-outs for September supply at 1/6 per lb butterfat, while the Tatua and Sunny Park companies will pay out at the rate of 1/5. ,
