The final match for the Waikato Banner was played on Saturday last at the Hamilton courts, when the local club defeated Waikato .East by 15 sets (177 games) to nine sets (154 games). The outstanding feature of the match was the defeat of Morpeth (who recently beat Knott at Auckland) by Dr Lanrenson by nine games to one. Thompson and Ward (Matamata) also won their singles.
