SUB-ASSOCIATION .TOURNAMENT THE FINALS. The principal feature of local tennis on Saturday last was the playing-off of the semi-finals and finals in connection with the second annual Easter tournament. There was* a fair attendance of members apart from the contestants and keen interest was displayed in thevarious matches. . Results arc as follows: —- - Men’s Singles. Semi-Finals, —Morrison owe 40 beat A. G. Thomas owe 15 4/6, 6 —4. Robinson owe 15 beat J. Cox owe 40, 6—5, 6—l. Final.—W. Robinson owe 15 beat R. Morrison owe 40, 6 —o, 6 —l. Men’s Doubles.

Semi-Final.—Robinson and A. R. Cox owe 15 beat Armor and T. Keelcy scr, 6 —l, 5— 6, 6 —3. Final.- —Robinson and Cox owe 15 beat A. G. Thomas and Gibbons owe 15, 6—5, 6—2. Ladies’ Doubles. Semi-Final.—Misses J. Feisst and Jamieson owe 15 beat Mrs Kcoley and Miss Dunstan scr, 6 —5, 6 —4. On Saturday last a ladies ’ v. men’s match was held on the Maungatautari courts, resulting in an easy win for the men. Next Saturday a match has been arranged between Roto-o-rangi and Maungatautari, .to be played on the Maungatautari courts. DAVIS CUP DATES. THE ZONE COMPETITIONS. TO START IN JULY.
